Things

I just “wasted” two hours on YouTube watching clips from various Sailor Moon episodes. If I had $250 right now that ultimate collection on amazon would be mine. I love that show.

In other news, I’ve moved into a house with my parents and grandparents. After less than a week, I can definitively say this is not going to be a longterm thing. I love all four of them but my grandmother is driving me a little bit crazy. I now understand why my parents hide out in their tv room/office all the time. You literally have to hide from her or she will spend all your time listing things you should be doing. No one is allowed to not be doing something (usually a task she has come up with for you). I understand that this is her house, but I need some down time. That’s why I’ve taken to pretending to be asleep until 1pm. This way I can read or surf what net I can on my phone and ipod touch without her knowing.

I’m hoping with the low rent costs and some interesting financial plans I’ll be able to move out around summertime. This is alsol depending on whats going on then. Right now I’m seriously considering Kaitlin’s suggestion that I get a nanny job as supplemental income instead of GAP since I hardly get any hours there on the off season. I do have some pretty large expenses coming up this year that I need to save for. Luckily, this month I can actually start doing that. I need to save at least $3,000 for a trip to see Nadiapots and probably another $2,000 for various wedding things for my sister’s big day in August. In addition to that I have a weekend trip to San Francisco in March for my friend’s wedding and probably a few trips to Vegas during the year. If I continue where I’m at with income and bills right now, I can at least afford the plane tickets to Spain by end of February/begining of March and have the rest of the travel money saved up by the time we would leave. Since the expenses for the wedding aren’t needed until that time period, I should have that money by then as well. This is, of course, based solely on my income from one job and I fully intend to have additional income along the way. Cross your fingers that I win the lotto cause that would make this a lot easier to accomplish. I just hope I haven’t given myself impossible expectations :(
